It’s going to be old news for you to be reminded that exercising is a bit part of boosting your metabolism and burning up calories.
Unless you’re born with one of those unusually active metabolisms which allows you to, almost freakishly, eat thousands of calories a day without weight-gain consequences, you’re like the vast majority of us who need to give your metabolisms a bit of a kick through exercising.
Now, you might think that cardiovascular (aerobic) exercise is an important part of boosting your metabolism; and you’d be right!
Provided that, of course, your qualified doctor confirms that you’re able to start a program of cardiovascular exercise, this is indeed the place to start. Increasing heart rate, blood circulation, body temperature, and oxygen intake/carbon dioxide exchange all send messages to the system to initiative catabolism (breaking down cells and using them for energy).
Yet if cardiovascular exercising is the place to start, does that mean that it’s the place to end? No!
Many people, who aren’t as educated as you’ll be when you’ve finished this book, responsibly start a dedicated program of cardiovascular health, but they don’t go any further. Not because they’re lazy; but because, frankly, they don’t know that there is significantly more that they can do in their home gym, or at the fitness club, that will boost their metabolism even more potently.

Ermine
The Ermine is a member of the family Mustelidae, which also includes other weasels, mink, otters, ferret, badgers, polecats, the wolverine, martens, the tayra, the fisher and in some taxonomical classifications skunks.
This is one of the most species-rich families in order Carnivora. The Ermine moves in a sinuous manner when pursuing its prey extremely quick over the ground considering its small size, and is also a strong swimmer that is able to colonize offshore islands. Although it inhabits northern latitudes, the Ermine is built long and thin, leading to an increased surface area-to-volume ratio and increased dissipation of heat from its body. The advantage of this shape is that it is one of the few species able to follow burrowing animals into their own homes. It partly compensates for this shape by having short legs, small ears, a fast metabolism and, in winter, thick fur. Ermines may grow up to 30 cm long, with males much larger than the females. In most areas it coexists with the weasel (Mustela nivalis, also known as the Least Weasel), the smallest member of order Carnivora. Where the weasel is absent the Ermine is smaller (~70 g).

80 Enzymes Identified. Digestive, Systemic and Metabolic
http://www.takebackyourhealth.com/faq.html
In 1930, eighty enzymes were discovered and identified. The specific areas with which each enzyme reacts were identified, as well as the particular effect it produces. However by 1993, there are more than 2,700 known and classified enzymes. Yet, such number does not indicate that all the active substances responsible for evolution have been identified.
As mentioned, enzymes are necessary for the proper functioning of the entire metabolism of the body. Each enzyme is related to all the rest that even a single minute error or disturbance can cause diseases. Again, each enzyme works on a specific task and if one does not function as it is supposed to, then there is a general effect.
A particular type of enzyme that is making quite a buzz in the medical field is proteolytic enzyme. Proteolyitic enzymes are enzymes that initiating protein catabolism by hydrolysis of the peptide bonds that link amino acids together in the polypeptide chain.
Proteolytic enzymes regulate the protein function in the body. It is able to sufficiently break down dietary nutrients, which the body needs. Moreover, these enzymes have the capacity to dissolve dead tissues without harming the living tissues.
There are actually several kinds of proteolytic enzymes and each is designated with a particular type of nutrient to break down. There are starch digesting enzymes, protein digesting enzymes, cellulose digesting enzymes and lipid-digesting enzymes.
